Forensic Scientist IV – Biology Casework Supervisor

Supervise and direct a multi-faceted biology DNA casework section program in the KBI Forensic Science Laboratory, across three locations; Topeka Forensic Science Center, Great Bend and Kansas City. Establishes goals for the section, reviews and evaluates production levels for the case management program. With the assistance of the DNA Technical Leader and Assistant Biology Casework Supervisors, develop protocols, establish procedures, monitor and direct the use of personnel, facilities, equipment, and materials in order to achieve program goals and solve analytical problems. Directs training and professional development of personnel within the program using the documented training program and outside training sources.
