Dr. Amy Michael is a biological anthropologist at the University of New Hampshire specializing in the analysis of human bone and tooth microstructure in forensic and archaeological cases. As a consulting team member for the Trans Doe Task Force, Dr. Michael is focused on collaborating with law enforcement, anthropology students, and LGBTQ+ activists to reanalyze remains and resolve identities of marginalized members of minority communities.
