Angela Spessard is a Forensic Scientist III in the Biology Section of the Maryland State Police.  In addition to her case work duties, she is a member of the validation unit.  She is a representative on the NIST/NIJ Expert Working Group on Human Factors in Forensic DNA Interpretation and has enjoyed collaboration.
