Quentin received his PhD from Florida International University in 2020 under the guide of Bruce McCord where he studied DNA methylation patterns for forensic applications. He is passionate about innovation in the life sciences and how it can be applied to the field of forensics. Quentin has spent the past two years performing research on a variety of topics within the FBI Laboratory’s Research Support Unit in hopes of providing new and improved methods of analysis of biological material for the DNA casework unit. When not in the lab, he likes to spend his time hiking, learning how to woodwork, and playing fetch with his dog, Mando.
