Technical Leader | Senior DNA Analyst, DNA Labs International

Cristina Servidio is the Technical Leader and a Senior DNA Analyst at DNA Labs International.  She received her Master of Forensic Science in Forensic Molecular Biology from the George Washington University, as well as a Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering and Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the Catholic University of America.  Her current responsibilities include overseeing the technical operations of the laboratory and the processing and analysis of thousands of samples at DLI.  She has testified to her conclusions in court systems within the United States and internationally including Daubert and Frye hearings.  Previously, she worked at the Armed Forces DNA Identification Laboratory (AFDIL) for six years in the past accounting section.  This mission included performing mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) and nuclear–based typing services (both autosomal and Y-STRs) to assist in identifying the remains of fallen soldiers killed during previous military conflicts such as World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam war.
