The 35th International Symposium on Human Identification will be held at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country, nestled amid 600 acres of oak-covered hills in Texas near downtown San Antonio, TX.
Standard rooms are available for $239 per night plus taxes, however, as of July, available rooms are limited. The cut-off for all reservations is August 28, 2024, upon which the block will close.
Regrettably, our room block reserved at the government rate has reached full capacity and is now sold out. We understand this may come as an inconvenience and sincerely apologize for any disruption this may cause to your planning.
To ensure you still have access to comfortable and affordable accommodations, we have secured an overflow hotel, the Courtyard San Antonio (approximately 5 miles away), at a lower price point ($179) than the conference hotel standard rate. This hotel is almost sold out. Please book your rooms before it’s too late.
We will be providing complimentary daily transportation services for those staying at the contract overflow hotel (Courtyard) only. You must be a guest of the hotel to ride on the shuttle. More information will be shared with registered hotel guest at a later date.
Please note that these are not official conference hotels and transportation will not be provided.
The JW Marriott is the official conference hotel where all workshops, presentations, and the exhibit hall will be located.

San Antonio International Airport (SAT) is located 14 miles away from the JW Marriott. The hotel does not provide a shuttle service.
Taxi: The typical fare from the airport to is ~$42 each way.
Ride Share: Approved rideshare services (or ride-hailing or ride-booking service companies) meet customers on the outer commercial curbside, lower level of Terminal A. These include: Uber, Lyft, Wingz, and Wridz.
There is a lot to do in the San Antonio, Texas area! Find restaurants, do some shopping, and more while you’re in town – you may just find a couple of reasons to extend your trip as well!
