Mary Merchán Merchán is a forensic DNA analyst, with fourteen years of experience in the Genetics Group of the Attorney General of Colombia. The main areas of her work include forensic human identification from skeletal remains, analysis of crime scene evidence, validation of the next generation sequencing techniques for implementation in missing persons cases, and management and supervision of the quality system of the laboratory accredited under the NTC ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
