Samantha Wandzek is the Technical Leader of Signature Science’s Forensic DNA Laboratory in Austin, Texas. Ms. Wandzek oversees all technical aspects of the laboratory including validation and
implementation of all forensic methods. In addition, she continues to function as a Forensic DNA Analyst by reporting and performing technical review of DNA analyses and case files.

Beginning her career in 2007 in the Department of Forensic Biology at the Office of Chief Medical Examiner in New York City, Ms. Wandzek has over fifteen years’ experience in both public and private laboratories. She has testified extensively with jurisdictions spanning six states in the United States, one United States territory, and five international countries.

Ms. Wandzek has a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master of Science in Forensic Science from Pace University in New York City.
