David Gurney, JD/PhD, AIGG, is an assistant professor of Law & Society and Director of the Investigative Genetic Genealogy Center at Ramapo College. He is president of the Investigative Genetic Genealogy Accreditation Board. Previously, he was a Fellow at the Wrongful Conviction Clinic (now the Innocence Project) at the University of Arizona College of Law. A licensed attorney in Arizona and New Jersey, he received his PhD from Arizona State University and his JD from the University of Arizona, both in 2016.
