Steve Ainsworth

Detective Steve Ainsworth is currently a Law Enforcement Liaison/Consultant for Othram since April 2022. Formerly, he was a Law Enforcement Officer from June 13, 1977-May 26, 2021 as well as a Detective in Major Crimes/Homicide at Boulder County Colorado Sheriff’s Office for 32 years. He attended St. Louis University Medical School Medicolegal Death Investigation Basic and Masters’ courses and over 1,000 hours of death investigation related training. He has been a speaker at the Colorado Coroner’s Association Conference twice yearly between 1994 and 2020, and was contracted as a death investigation trainer for WPOA and speaker at the Wyoming Coroners’ Association since 2012.

Steve was a trainer for over 200 different agencies and investigated over 2,500 deaths of all causes and manners. He is a District Court recognized expert in Medicolegal Death Investigation.
