Notice of Event Photography at ISHI
Home » Notice of Event Photography at ISHI
Event photographers will be capturing footage of attendees at the symposium (including during networking events). Not all photos will be used and no names or affiliations will be included in the photo (with the exception of speakers).
Photos may be included in:
- Background projection in the general sessions at the beginning of each day and during breaks.
- Archives of the International Symposium on Human Identification that are kept by Promega Corporation.
- Communication materials for future symposia. These materials will be presented online.
- Promotion for future symposia on social media
In addition, attendees and exhibitors may be asked to participate in video interviews to share their experiences. Your participation in the interview provides your consent for use in the elements referenced below. You may provide as little or as much information regarding your name, title and affiliated lab as you wish. Each interviewee will be identified at a minimum with their first name, role in the lab and US state or country of employment.
Recordings may be edited but will not change the original intent of the message. Video recordings may be used via:
- YouTube as a montage to inform those considering participating in future symposia of what the event is like or in its entirety. This may also be sent out via email.
- ISHI Conference website and social media channels as information on what peers attending the conference experienced.
If your photo and/or interview are used and you change your mind, you may ask that it be removed from the display / distribution methods mentioned above. To do so, please contact Tara Luther at tara.luther@promega.com with your request.
Thank you for participating in and sharing your experience at the 36th International Symposium on Human Identification.
