Assistant Attorney General and the Deputy Chief of the Criminal Division of the Rhode Island Department of Attorney General

John E. Corrigan, Esq., is an Assistant Attorney General and the Deputy Chief of the Criminal Division of the Rhode Island Department of Attorney General, overseeing operations in the state’s counties outside of Providence County.  He served previously as Chief of the Department’s District Court Unit and its Newport County office.  Twice he has filled the role of Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor.  He has been a prosecutor for more than twenty-two years.  Mr. Corrigan received his law degree from Suffolk University in Boston, a master’s degree from Boston University and an undergraduate degree from Providence College.
