Biologist with a Master’s degree in Biology from Universidad Industrial de Santander. She has more than five years of research experience in cellular biology and biomedical sciences, as well as teaching experience in biological sciences. As a member of the Genetics Group of the Technical Investigation Corps (CTI) at the Office of the Attorney General of Colombia, she is involved in forensic genetics research and the application of DNA technologies for human identification. Her scientific interests include forensic genetics, molecular biology, bioinformatics, data science, and the optimization of methodologies for DNA recovery and genetic profiling from challenging forensic samples.
